Awesome Shed find
« on: March 02, 2012, 05:29 PM »
I've known about this bike for a while ... Or rather I heard stories about it ..

A mate of mine Jason Ramsden poped in on his friend John lee who's dad used to own / run  the Chorley track ..

Sorry about the rubbish photo ..

Just look at this ...  :smitten:  :smitten:

He won't sell it though ..  :'(

Torker cruiser

Just as I'm about to post this I get another photo sent

What's this ?

My first thoughs were "powerlite"  but their top tubes are arched. I think the national pro only had a short brace where the gusset is  :-\

still, both look super cool though, or atleast the Torker frame does  :2funny:

I posted a pic of that Torker a while ago. John Lee (who used to ride BMX for raleigh) now does flat track racing. He uses that torker to cycle around on at races. My mate Geoff Cain snapped a pic of it at a race

the red one's a mile off being a Profile....rear drops wrong shape and don't have a hole in and the cross brace is way too far up the top tube. still interested to find out what it is though.Just noticed, the head tube looks like it MIGHT be 5".

Chorley was fab!!   :daumenhoch:  I just remember the mud, the rain and that awesome start hill!!!   :D

I think they look cool.  I love how they have kept them and given them a bit of functionality..  better than rotting in a shed!  The red one looks very beach cruiseresque...    8)
