My missus started moaning before I'd even finished my FIRST build! 

....and it was HER that suggested I get back into BMX's to replace my motorbike racing!! 

All builds/deliveries take place around my parents place now.

Mine was ok until I ran out of children to allocate them too when I hit six she had a moan about you can't ride more than one. Then I hit 12. Hmmm managed to get most of them past her. Recently scored one on eBay and had it at work. She casually tips in where's that bike you won on ebay? Hmm she'd been on eBay and seen the transaction. I shat myself. But redeemed when she saw some recent sales that had paid for it. I promised it was the last one.  She's up the Duff now so in came a mini!

But the best reason for having bikes I tell her is it keeps me busy. So busy I don't have time for a bit on the side. She
Has now started giving them all girls names and calling them my other women.

      i've had a shock tonight as my wife asked what have i bought tonight    as i'm carrying bits in and then asked am i still getting one dropped off on Saturday

My Mrs doesn't moan at all infact she tells me if I like it buy it then, I think she gets quite attached to some of them as she she sees them as a pile parts then a whole bike at the end.

I don't even lie about how much it all costs as long as her and the kids don't go without it's all fine

I have now run out of places 2 stash stuff  My Chrome Badlander is on display in the lounge  stuff is arriving daily 4 my new builds so just taken 2 dumping it in the dining room and on the table  not a word said

A few weeks ago wifey had to cancel a nice romantic evening out with me because one of her "friends" was upset or some 5hit , so when a lovely frame set landed on my door today my first words were "remind me how your friend's feeling now"  she never uttered a word about the frame  result.

Mines not too bad either , I've always been into a hobby where our front door is like the main DHL delivery hub.
We been together since we were 14 ( now 30) so she remembers the bmxs I had back then. So thinks its pretty cool. As others have said as long as the bills are paid and our daughter don't go without she's fine with it.
