found a place that builds rims.

charged me a fiver a wheel to true and tension for riding.

And a tenner a wheel to lace and tension well chuffed

good old boy!  :smitten:

That'll be Bob Warner then Wayne, arguably the best wheel builder in Leicester, not just bikes either, cars and motor bikes too, last time I was in there, he had a vintage wheelbarrow wheel in!!

No sense of humour though..

yeah deffo mark.  :)

i told him i wanted them lacing a certain way, hub stickers level with the araya stickers etc.

he then told me they were only bmx wheels, why was i worried, and i was quite fussy...... lol.  ;D

if only he knew.............  :2funny:

also closed on a thursday at 4 0'clock, whats that all about, not happy at all!  :yahoo_silent:

I charge £15 to lace and true or £4 - 5 just to true (local dudes...  come on down!!   8)  )    £10 is a very good price.  Some wheels can be a real pain in the a$$ though and can take a couple of hours to get right (esp the higher end BMX rims ::)  ).  It's just a time thing.  Especially if you have other stuff that you need to get out!
