Haro Freestyler Spec
« on: June 16, 2006, 10:07 PM »
Does anyone have the original freestyler spec that Bob Haro used, i thought he used Vector bars but most of the pictures in the museum dont have them. If anyone has any bits to help build as original as possible all will be welcome & cash is waiting.

Off to see Gace the disgrace get booted out of BB. !!!!!

in 1982 when bob came to the uk here is how he ran his bike.....

1982 haro(torker built) f and f
redline v bars
grab on grips
mcs 6 bolt stem(we think)
mx 1000 front brake, 890 rear, haro handle levers(blue and yellow)
dc cables, (later used clarks/haro thunderbolts)
redline flights(401, not 400's as on mine)
rat trap pedals
izumi chain
graphite front tuff, coaster rear
shotgun seat(not kashi mx as on mine) with rivets in holes
snake belly gumwall front tyre
raliegh red dot rear tyre
not sure if the seat clamp was a tuff neck or a suntour...however it was a red one at the nec
gt seat post stickered with haro decal?
series one number plate

check the bob haros freestyle moves thread, there is plenty of shots of his bike in the scans of his book.....none however with vector bars.....he used these later
