thanks for the offers fellas - seller has manged to find a neighbour to leave it with  

now hes just got to work out how to let me pay for the bike only and not the £30 postage

Is it eBay, just pay him with paypal & then he can refund you £30 

Or is that to much for him to manage

don't really trust someone I don't know to refund me the £30... not sure what rights I would have? I'm gonna hold out for his email addy and send him the cash direct
