BURNERWORLD PROUDLY PRESENTS…BURNER BASH 2012
Dear All

It’s that time of year again! The world’s BIGGEST Raleigh Burner dedicated event returns for its 8th consecutive year……its BURNER BASH 2012!

This year the event will take place on Saturday 5th May, and will once again be held at the home of Raleigh, Nottingham!

This year we move just a few miles across the city to the Victoria Embankment, a stunning location right on the banks of the River Trent (Nearest postcode for Sat Nav users – NG2 2JY).

As always, Burnerworld is proud to be associated with Midland Events to bring you the Burner Bash and this year’s event will be part of the Nottingham Steam and Transport Show. Joining forces with Midland Events will once again enable us to take advantage of all the other attractions that the wider show has to offer. These activities vary from year to year, but in the past have included quad bikes, fairground rides, bouncy castles etc.

The Burner Bash will take place over 2 full days on both the Saturday and Sunday. For those of you that can only attend for one day, the main show & shine and trophy presentations will take place on the Saturday, with Sunday reserved for more of a chill out day…and perhaps the odd spot of Mini Burner racing! As always though, the wider Steam &
Transport show will run through to the Bank Holiday Monday, so people are encouraged to arrive Friday and stay until Monday.

If you wish to be part of Burner Bash 2011, a fee of £10 per adult is payable in advance. Any children that attend with you will be free of charge. In return for your payment you will not have to pay the standard public entrance fee to the whole show (approx £8 per adult + £4 per child, per day) and you will also be entitled to camp at the event for the entire weekend for no extra charge!

To be registered as part of the event you must have paid your fee in advance, and arrive before 10am on Saturday morning. However attendee’s are encouraged to arrive on Friday, and take advantage of an extra night’s camping, but please do not arrive before 3pm.

Anyone that cannot arrive by the times above, do not worry. You can still be part of the Burner Bash, but you will have to gain admittance to the show via the public gates and pay the required attendance fee on the day.

If you would like to be part of this year’s event please PayPal a GIFT payment of £10 per adult to bash2012@burnerworld.co.uk When sending your payment please include the following information:

1. Full names of each adult and child that will be attending as part of your group.
2. Forum username
3. Full postal address
4. Your accommodation for the weekend (ie. 4 man tent, 4 berth caravan etc).
5. Which day you will be arriving (Friday AFTER 3pm or Saturday BEFORE 10am)

It is very important that all of the information above is included with your payment. Some of it is required for our Burnerworld insurance policy, and any incomplete payments may delay us in confirming your attendance.

Look out for further updates to follow on the BURNERWORLD Forum (http://www.burnerworldforum.co.uk), including details of this years Show ‘n’ Shine Competition.

Cheers

Dave & Dave

I'll try and get down, Victoria embankment was used in a few episodes of Boon so I'll probably be in full Texas Rangers gear if anyone's up for re-inacting some classic scenes from the handyman-cum-supersleuth based drama?

Cheers Pickle...

Forecast for Saturday in Nottingham keeps changing... But it looks like we may just escape the rain..  But who knows..

We've always had proper sunshine, so this is gonna be a new experience...

7 years of Burner Bash's...  :4_17_5: and highest number of people signed up to camp Friday night.  :daumenhoch:

And there was a rumour that BURNERWORLD was dead...  ^"^

Will I get battered if I roll up on a GT?   ;)   My missus' parents aren't too far away so we've just been discussing if we can make a weekend of it. Hopefully so.......  :daumenhoch:

Not at all Andy, someone had a GT last year, and there was also an Orange Street Beat a la Neil Ruffle.

Breaks up the Burner love a little  ;)

Edit: and I forgot this years Show and Shine competition has a non Burner category too so there hopefully will be some old school BMX in that

I think the only thing you're going to get battered by is the fooking rain!  >:(
