Anyone can enter S&S or racing etc at MK, the SS money goes toward keeping the MK weekend a free event, so basically covers things like hire of the site for the weekend, Ambulance cover, Insurance, Toilets, Skip, Marquees etc etc etc etc.

The site supporter money goes towards running the site and also makes up part of the MK funds.  It also gives the person the right to buy and sell stuff through the market here without ebay and paypal fees (if you know the person and pay gift that is).

Over the MK weekend, as Sean has said, the racing and show n shine are there for anyone to come along and have a go.

A couple of things i would say though is....

1. bring as many of your bikes as possible for show, it doesn't matter if you think they're never going to win anything........it's about letting other people enjoy your builds and seeing THE biggest collection of UK old school builds in one place 

2. The racing?  my advice is come along and have a go, most people come along and think about having a go but don't as they're a little scared or think they'll never win.  but like the show n shine, it's all about having a go and enjoying the whole weekend.....and i can bet that everyone who thinks about having a go and doesn't, they will kick themselves afterwards for not having a go.  once you try it the buzz is awesome!

Don't forget kids. Drink resposibly and always ensure you have your own safety gear like a tent, paracetomol and a fiver in your pocket for a bacon buttie when the van opens in the morning.....

In my hungover state I may have lost my competitive streak, since I remember sitting down at one point

As for camping? The event is open from Saturday morning (about 7am) through to Sunday (about 4pm) and its free to camp on Saturday night

I doesn't matter if you're allowed in novice or not Griff , most of the riders except for those who make the A or B final are like novice standard
