ANYONE GOT A DRAGON???

my very first BMX was a pos called a DRAGON FREESTYLER,i had the choice between this and a METEOR_LITE freestyler as these were the only 2 frames the shop sold seperately,the rest were burners etc.It was Hi-tensile,had twin top tubes and welded on pegs/platforms.It also came with its own bars,a bit like EZ 1's.I had it built with a few good bits,o.g.k's mx1000's,ACS stem but it was a heavy b'stard and i couldnt do any tricks on it as a 10 yr old kid!!could barely lift it!!Anyway,i was wondering if anyone has one of these behemoths,as i would just like to see a pic of one again?

My mate had a Dragon race frame, about the same price/quality as a Firebird, know nothing about them, but it was a cromo jobby, uk made I think, not sure if its the same dragon company as the one you mention.

hmmmm...not sure,I was sure mine was taiwanese for some reason and it defo wasnt cromo!!could be british though! mine was white with black graphics DRAGON in capitals with (maybe)a tiny,tiny bit of red??dunno if that rings any bells??

This was deffo cromo, gold and black decals, chrome, but I think white was available too, `82-83 ish.

around £70-80 in the LBS, F&F.

the year sounds about right,i think i had mine 83ish.im pretty sure the logo was black with a small red triangle somewhere!i could be wrong!

Not the same make/type as the Dragon race f+f from the 80's,these had teardrop top and bottom tubes with aero forks,cr-mo tubing nice welding,good quality too,a good f+f set for the money but not really anything special
