Hartlepool Upgrade
« on: February 16, 2012, 07:57 AM »
I am sure that this is old news, but the tender has just come out for upgrade of the track in case anybody is interested:

"Hartlepool Borough Council, acting in partnership with the North East BMX Club, is inviting formal quotations to fully upgrade the existing BMX track at Summerhill Visitor Centre, Hartlepool.  (www.sunnysummerhill.com) The completion of this work will result in the BMX track being established as one of the premier BMX facilities in the country and capable of staging national events.

Bids are invited from interested parties who have experience of upgrading or installing other BMX courses. A full specification is being made available and the site has open access. Office staff can be contacted on 01429 284584.

The North East BMX club and Hartlepool Borough Council have a combined maximum budget of £50,000 to complete this project, therefore, bids must not exceed this amount."
