thanks phil and hunter  took meticulous's advice  and took a link out of chain (a right ballache to do with a butter knife and allen key, (note to self must get some proper tools) now about half into dropout instead of at end  , i'll have to find something else to mess about with now its done

Looks sweeeeet Glen  . Glad you've taken a link out of the chain , also you could run the brake cable along the right side instead of it crossing over .

love this bike, something different   

you might want to check out a centre pull caliper, shorter reach so might be more suitable for the skinny wheels.
