Yep, won these on the bay a few nights back and to say i'm happy is an understatement.

According to BMX Action bike, these pants were made for their test riders but after thousands of letters and calls about the race pants they decided to run a competition for the chance to win one of only twelve sets made........

This is one of the sets.

As you can see these are NOS as such. They are completely unmarked or damaged anywhere, it's as if they were made last week rather than 1984. The fact there is no chaffing on the inside of the legs or the arse means they have never been worn in anger.

Also with the sale came the original magazine advertising the competition and a BMX Action bike patch.

I wore Gear pants back in the day and have been after a set for a while, these were probably not the colour i was after but to see a set on the bay finally got me quite excited.

This is a real collectors piece and i'm stoked to have got them here, now to add to them

A fraction over £41.00 with postage on top which was the exact that the seller charged me.

Love these things

after a Gear race shirt now.

They also came with the velcro hip pads which you could choose to wear or not.

Although i might be getting a blue rather than black as i've been offered one. Blue may go better with these pants but the helmets black

colours all over the place but then the Zeronine was anyway.

I want some race pants and a jersey, I used to have a raleigh aero jersey, pants(signed by craig schofield), raleigh burner helmet, raleigh burner pit cap, 2 pairs of raleigh gloves and some aero and sr wet weather gloves, all gone

I was gonna buy some aero pants but I'm not really keen, I prefer his haro ones a lot more

do they have the striped silk lining?
i used to have cw gear race pants they were amazingly comfy

They fit Keeley my daughter Phil, no chance for me but i may try tomorrow.

Ash, Still can't believe you never saw them on the bay mate, especially with your clothing collection.

Christian, my old Gear pants were the JAG ones below at Poole track. I'd like to know if there are any BMX Action bikes ones still around.
