VDC changa up for resto
« on: February 10, 2012, 08:27 AM »
Hi lads. An old school friend of mine has a changa.
It needs restoration but it's all there. I'd love it but can't afford it. I would offer him a sly £100 but think he has an idea it's worth a little more poss from me. Lol stupid boy.

So it's a changa with forks and VDC bars with a set of arayas on red suize hubs I think.
The frames in need of restoration.

What is it worth and who is interested if anyone???
We are in Dorset.

Cheers lads!

Difficult to call without some good photos as VDC's have very thin tubing so any rust might need some very careful restoration.

Either ways I guess a good one with bars should fetch at the moment £800+

yeah, seat stays / down tube junction is GHP style. Seen this on a cruiser but not a changa so slightly out of the ordinary...

Damn I love a VDC,

What is the serial # ?

Really hard to put a value on the Frame/Fork and Bars, but if it has no structual damage it could go large.

eBay is the best way to get a good price and everyone can have a shot at it, start the bidding at £350 and see where it goes

It looks like Frostys early VDC built GHP.

One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.
