Wald forks?
« on: June 13, 2006, 06:05 PM »
Just been cleaning up some chrome forks originally fitted to an eBay-acquired S&M Sabbath.
Anyone know if 'WALD' forks are any good? They're pretty chunky with 990 lugs, seem to be pretty well made. Did the Sabbath come with Pitchforks? I'm wondering if they might've been bought as a replacement and could be a cheapo generic set.
The rest of the bike was very tired, but the parts were none too shabby overall. Seems odd to skimp on the forks.
If they're up to scratch, I might mount them on a spare frame. The Sabbath just needs too much work for me to tackle at the moment.

I'm not 100% but I'm sure Wald made generic bars for a million different company's.
