Chains?
« on: February 07, 2012, 03:29 PM »
I've always had izumi chains on my os rides but what chain do I need for my new school race bike that has a cassette hub? Whats the difference between a 1/8 and a 3/32 in regards to the sprockets you run?

I use Izumi chains on my newschool racebikes.Chain won`t make a difference if you`re running a cassette or freewheel.3/32 is slightly narrower and different pitch to 1/8.Profile cogs and ACS Claws freewheels will run either chain without probs. Most race chainrings will only fit 3/32 chains.

Any 3/32 chain should fit.
