Gold stem info wanted please

The goldy plate , what is it ?

I have just got one and it seems to have a residual really gold coloured layer , then a light gold layer underneath

Whats that all about you goosey know it alls lol

And can you get the stem stickers other than on us ebay

i have been told they are brass plated then lacquered i am trying to find someone to re plate mine will let you know if i have any luck :daumenhoch:

According to an interview with Skip hess, it was brass plated and then clear coated. Any plater should be able to do them. Then just clear coat it.
