Why oh why has it become compulsory to take pics of all the parts laid out all neat and tidy before you build it up?

Is it because they want a clue as to how all the parts fit together.

Is it at that point they're soooo exited it's nearing chuff, chuff, chuffing time.

Had multiples of parts out to decide on a colour scheme?
