cheers dark diggler - wanted something different chainring style, this one has done the job perfectly, nice little oddity, also i love your avatar!

S&Malex - thanks! had this in the attic for about a year, bought it complete from the states, the seatstays are much thinner than any other dirtbike ive seen, granted the only ones ive seen in person are later than this one




That is a killer DB Captain, not to threadjack yet i have a similar frame (MK2) with a flat chainstay bridge and sandwiched drops and a serial SMD 33XX yet the serial is on the right side drop as opposed to yours on the left.

Any opinions as to why the different sides for the serial to be on?

Serial numbers are usually on the right dropout

I've had one with it on the left....



The others i've had it's been on the right, some didn't have gussets, must have been down to whoever put it together...  :-\
