I would also add. My comments about factory spec bikes were for builds from the mid 80's onwards. As before that most riders were on their first or maybe if you were lucky second bmx. To be honest most people's first bmx was kept stock apart from a few bits. But when there was a lot of variety on bmx parts in the mid 80's stock bikes were rare to see. Am I making sense here?  :daumenhoch:

total sense to me .you only saw people new to the sport on full spec bikes ,i started with a firebird then got sponsored so that became my street bike ,some of the bits off it were moved to my race bike but not a lot, but people used to change bits every week :daumenhoch:

Nowt wrong with factory spec bikes, all my GT`s are built to either factory spec or catalogue spec, not that anyone gives a shit..... even Fiolas bikes were GT factory spec from mid 85, cos NOTHING COMES CLOSE  :4_17_5:   :D

if peeps want to spend a million pound on NOS stuff fair play to them, id rather restore everything i can thats were all the graft and appreciation is for me, were it gets over looked 9 times out of 10 by a build full of NOS parts

 :daumenhoch:
i agrre with this too  lol not much i dont agree with  :LolLolLolLol:

At the end of the day Pooch, it was fook all to do with me, i just made a comment in the thread, as did every1 else, and was targeted by a  defensive member about my maths!

I currently have a 84 gt pro, 82 loopy ripper, and just purchased a champion pro!  :daumenhoch:

I personally got nothing against hutch!

So in conclusion to this ever so melodramatic thread we can safely say that some people don't like the 'parts laid out pics' and some people do, we can also deduce that some people like Burners while others like Hutch's and finally that it would have to be an exceptionally unique BMX to place a £10k price-tag upon it. :daumenhoch:
My philophosy is simple, if I dislike a thread I try to refrain from emptying my bowels through my mouth.  :daumenhoch:
