Yep.They feel COMPLETELY different to old school bikes. Modern bikes felt so long to me at first, but flew much more naturally through the air. Many fewer endos or loop outs when you're jumping. Riding quarters, they felt slower in the air, more stable.People on this site are largely deluded, it bugs the hell out of me sometimes. They expect to hop on a new school bike, conveniently forgetting their often 20 years older and 3-4 stone heavier and then go on to moan how new school bikes are crap because they can't do the stuff they can, or could, on their old school bike.Modern and old school bike are like apples and oranges. And thank fcuk.If you want to ride, spend a decent amount of money on the right tool for the job, go out and apply yourself a little bit. Expect to get hurt. Expect to have time off work. Expect to love it.This is not an easy sport, never has been, never will be.If you have trails on your doorstep, happy days. However, be sure the first time you turn up there, you turn up with a shovel and not a bike.No dig, No ride. It's a global rule.
That's all bob on You're not unusually short or tall are you? What brand is that thing?
Can't beat that for €180 At that price it must be stolen!
ok i went to see the stolen bike and i bought it .i got it for 160 euros which is about £130 so happy enough its got a 20.75 top tube and to be honest feels ok when riding it (not as strange as i was expecting ) it might not be the best bike out there but for the money i wont complain ok i will its a shite colour (the guy i got it from bought it from chain reaction cycles at christmas and paid 408 euros for it ) i am not giving up on getting a better bike i just thought this would do as a stop gap to get me riding again thanks for all the advice it has been appreciated .as i said i know nothing about new school rides so will be learning along they way . so what parts do you reckon are week points on this bike whats going to brake and fall off stodgy that sunday is a sweet looking bike and definatly at a bargin price . Oh and i do take your point about all that glitters not being gold . thanks again lads
