Oddy Bluebird Chains - tiny warning!
« on: January 11, 2012, 12:39 PM »
Just a heads up - had popped a new Oddysey Bluebird chain (basically a rebranded KMC) on me bike Monday night, took the bike out Tuesday morning and in the first couple of peds the thing shattered on me.

Checked the chain (and the unused links) and there are splits in the plates on some links next to the pins - IMG Distro have confirmed there's been a box of them that on distro have been mixed with good chains, so if you've got one you ain't used yet, or you're a shop with stock, in the words of UGP:
