Cheers fella

Think the framesets will be ready around the same time  :coolsmiley:

Its an ideal time for Profile to cash in on the TA's release  :daumenhoch:

I remember some people were not happy with the quality....can anyone remember what the problems were with the cranks  ???
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

What/ where are you getting your wheels from then? I'm finding it hard to find a nice set that don't have disc hubs etc?!  :-\

Ready built cruiser wheelsets are available and there are also lots of 24"rims around.Try Source BMX,Groove BMX and Ultimate BMX.

Jim I am pretty sure that the cranks you are talking about are SE Racing ones.

SE ones, like you would find on the 2011 OM Flyer  :daumenhoch:

Just checked the SE ones on OM Flyer and they are five arm spider, the TA prototype has 4 arm spider. Which spider is that one?

OK, so whats the spider?  :LolLolLolLol:

Had some 80s Profile Box cranks on my Changa and have to say they felt nicer than Redlines. So perhaps a retro set of those may be order of the day.

Jim, have a look over on Porkchops site.  He does some retro spiders on there.

For cruising not racing, my mate Thorpedo tore one of them to bits coming out of the gate

The chrome 24" TA that I have has a new Bullseye spider on it.  I will have them up on the planetBMX site soon.  They are VERY sweet!
The cranks are 180mm SE cranks that I took off of a 2011 PK Ripper Team XLP complete bike.  The chrome plating is GREAT on those, so I used them for that bike.

listen, as I have said, they will be up to the job for 90% of people who own them,  great for cruising around on  :daumenhoch:
Personally, I dont think they look good and know from experience that they are not up to anything more than that video shows, small, straight impacts at slow speed (and even then I wouldn't trust em, or the dropouts at the rear of those frames), they are laughably flexy when you pedal hard, the laughter alone makes it hard to ride them at pace and once they buckle, which they will, you are fooked as you will be using a V-Brake on those frames (much less pad clearance from the rim).

Do I like to be different....I am fookin different to most people, its what keeps me going

appartently these frame sets come with a disclaimer that you have to sign that allow only the use of skyway wheels....    ^"^

not them strung together old fashioned wire wheels that was designed in 1643.....   :buck2:
