GT seatpost? id help
« on: January 09, 2012, 07:14 PM »
Hi. I have 2 GT seatposts. One is a layback with the slanted GT logo decal. 90's post? I bought this as NOS via ebay usa a few years ago. It has a minimum instertion line, but no gt stamp.  The other seatpost is straight and approx 40 cm long, with an 80's rounded letter decal on it. It also does not have a stamp, and has no minimal insertion mark.

I only paid a smallish amount for each, so wouldnt be suprised if they're not genuine. Based on the above information, is there a a general rule when it comes to identifying a genuine gt post? Were all, or only some of them stamped? Do they contain minimal insertion stamps?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Andy.
