KKT LIGHTNING PEDALS
« on: January 01, 2012, 10:07 AM »
Happy New Year Radsters

Just got a set of KKT Lightning pedals with riveted cages. Can the cages be removed for restoration and re-riveted?

Has anyone got any spare  restorable cages?

There was more than one sort of Lightning Mark
The higher end pedal was called the LMX Lightning and came with removable cages like the suntour MP 1000'S
The lower end pedal was the FMX Lightning and was riveted.

KKT Lightning LMX with Magnesium Bodies & Removeable Screwed Cages. (these are hard to source)
KKT Lightning FMX with Standard Bodies with Rivited Cages.
