skyway t.a rider update
« on: December 30, 2011, 02:34 PM »
some of you may remember a couple of months back i landed a t.a from a mate of mine,he'd recenty got into the os scene and had won it on ebay.it had been living in the previous owners loft for 25 years or so and was in nice surivor shape having been kept warm amongst all that insulation :LolLolLolLol:
anyway due to curcumstances my mate needed to shift it so i duely obliged,tbh apart from the really tidy fame and forks the parts list was a load of junk,about as low tech as you could get,formos brakes,aeroyal seat,copy ez bars,snide tuf neck seat clamp,it looked like someone had bought the frame and forks and took all the parts off of their halfords special and plonked it on to the t.a.
anyway heres a pic of how it looked when i got it;

and here it is now after a little upgrade.its no show pony but great for a rider,at some point i want to get a red seat for it so for now the seat cover will have to do although there is a genuine kashi aero underneath it but in black,the brake is a dc 890 with dc tech 3,a tioga seat clamp,ame bubble font tris,tuf neck power disc,gt pro bars,future upgrades will be a tuf or pro neck stem and some decent pedals to replace the victors
