DP Firebird Freestyler Prototype Rebuilt
« on: December 24, 2011, 07:30 PM »
As most of you will be aware i bought the DP Prototype earlier this year . When i got it the frame was in lovely condition as it had only just been lightly built up . The decals were black with a little green , i did try a build with a number of green bits but i just couldn't feel the love for the build and to be honest i was gutted so i left it to one side . Fast forward a few months i knew it had to have the decals changed if i was going to move forward . So a big thankyou to Firebird Steve for the decals . Ive had a little ride on it and i love it  :smitten: i've also tried slightly bigger chain rings with no catching of the chain on the inside of the frame , so as soon as the NOS red anno chain ring from Nickswan lands that'll  be going on . Then thats it ,,,, another build finished  ;)
Hope you like how it's turned out guys  :daumenhoch:

do you think those loops on the chainstays were intended for strength,or for standing on when the bike is vertical?i.e cherrypickers? :idiot2:
