The Mrs and I went to the new westfield shopping centre right in the middle of the Olympic village today and as we drove in the Mrs asks what the hell is that, pointing at some sort of ski jump ramp thing.......turned out to be the start gate of the bmx track.......Fook me its about 80 feet high!!!

The speed you pick up on the bigger ramps is mental...  we were on the 3M ramp at Manchester indoor on saturday night - rolling off the gate - 25mph with out pedalling!!!
