His pricing varies with rarity and desirabity, the rarer and more desirable the part the higher the price.

IMO the reason he doesn't get talked about like the badger is because he has a much better relationship with the sites and their members.

On a side note, those Victor DXs he has there are a perfectly good pedal for a rider. Very popular during the midschool.

i guess because they are specific to gen 1's,if you are building a gen 1 you are gonna need em,same as redline 400's,specific to laserlites so the price shoots up :-\

But with silly prices like that it will not be soon before he is spoken of in the same breath as Biagio.  £199 for a set of pedals that are not worth more than £20 is ridiculous and will not do much for your relationship with the sites and its members.

Mark who runs Retrospect is a really decent guy but sometimes his prices are a bit wild. Just buy them somewhere else but when the supply runs out we'll end up paying horrific prices... Oh wait, we already are ;-(

No problem with that, but is that any different to Rockchick?  And think of all the abuse he gets on this site, but somebody else does it and they are held up as a bit of a lovable Arthur Daley character.

Sounds like double standards to me.

Ive dealt with Mark before and he is actually a nice guy, which seperates him from the badger straight away!!I doubt that is a misprint, have you seen some of his other prices?99.99 for a set of original white tuff pads?I didnt think he was still trading?I gave up,could never contact him or never returned calls!I paid £100 for a set of the same pedals on here, but they were chrome and a bit rarer.199.99 is ridiculous.thats almost Hutch money! :idiot2:

I have never dealt with either of them, so all I can go on is the prices and if £199 for a set of those pedals was on Vert-ego this place would go mad.

Nice guy, horrible guy, it makes no difference to me.
