First time Ive seen that site.

Im liking the Direct Link on this page (4th bike down), check out the pierced tube rear drop outs on it  :coolsmiley:

http://bmxsociety.com/topic/53133-old-school-bmx-20-inch-1980-through-1987/'s=92779d2883922e886c9b180a6dd21c32

I never heard of DirectLink before but found this bit of history and it seems theyve carried it all the way through to present. http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/directlink/

Some nice stuff on there :smitten:

Sadly some of those bikes and a few of the parts never made it over here, think thats why they can spot a build from the Uk easily, that and the location, obviously :LolLolLolLol:

The RRS is a good one out of the 0/S 20"'s :smitten:

I reckon they've maybe went too far with the whole era correct, original condition and anti repop thing to the point that some of the builds don't look how they would have bitd but more the BMXsocietys idea how they should have looked.

Contrived the BMXsociety way.

The 70's bikes are awesome but I think you'll find better 80-87 bikes on RAD and OZ too.

Radsters can do the early ones bang on too like the bikes by IN2BMX, Bobafett and Kungfunky et al.

Scary Leary won on there a long while back with a nice blue skyway.
There's a couple of guys on there that are complete shuffle munsterers, but there's good knowledge and bikes.

The new school bikes on there are awful. And someone actually said 'no disrespect intended' because his bike was muddy, seriously? :wtf: the bikes on rad are better to be honest.
