after a good few years away from building old bikes im making a return my previous old skool builds have been mongoose and i was in the process of doing another but i just wasnt feeling it so that was binned and decided on a 79 redline mx11 the first ever bmx i see in my area as a kid was one of these in white so thats the reason behind this build
just waiting for it to arrive from the states then i shall rebuild her to her former glory and will be used not stuck in a loft or shed
also i will be repainting and pimping my dialled to hopefully race again next year

Gonna strip this down and rebuild....finally got my hands on a set of skyway forks instead of the Tange that are on her at the moment....
Thinking I'll go down the spoke route maybe a nice set of Araya this time, some DC880's front and rear dx's rather that Sx's 1 piece crank...just change everything  ...but don't know at the moment wot colour to do her...maybe another Candy over Chrome

I'd like to see that, the bike my dad won a few nationals and the Brits on in 1990

I know what you're saying Jaymz about the space situation, however me and the handbrake went to view a great house tonight with a decent sized garage, a large garden for a shed and a big patio area for getting all my bikes out on their stands on a Saturday morning for cleaning and polishing.
