Hi how can you tell gen mx calipers and levers from none gen ones?????

Stamping on the rear bud, knock offs will be stamped mx1000a at best. Genuine DC brakes are well stamped with date and model number. Genuine ones are a bit more sturdy to touch if that makes sense?  ???

Genuine callipers will also be stamped 'Dia Compe' where the jelly bean decal is placed. They will also have a quick release fitted (some snides do too).
