I don't think there's anything wrong with the Tange in all honesty  red frame with chrome forks with black Tuff 1's will look proper old school  my yellow goose with yellow Tuff 1's looks great. And lets face it, Tange forks are better than Ashtabula's

From what I can see, there looks to be a fair bit of rust. So maybe clean the forks up, leave chrome - and give the frame a lick of paint. The decals look shot too. I ride all mine, restored or not

It's an awesome bike - the gusset goose for me defines old school BMX.

Dubbers right imo Andy , get some ashtabula's on it . It will look nearly as old as you with the box bars, stem and those Tuff 1's
