I don't think there's anything wrong with the Tange in all honesty  :-\ red frame with chrome forks with black Tuff 1's will look proper old school  :daumenhoch: my yellow goose with yellow Tuff 1's looks great. And lets face it, Tange forks are better than Ashtabula's  ;)

can see what you're  saying so the next question is leave or restore? either way it will get ridden at some point

From what I can see, there looks to be a fair bit of rust. So maybe clean the forks up, leave chrome - and give the frame a lick of paint. The decals look shot too. I ride all mine, restored or not  :daumenhoch:

I love the phrase "survivor"

I will use that when I advertise my car for sale.

Instead of saying "a load of rust and dents".

Strip the fooker and repaint it. It will look mint!

TBH survivor means fook all, unless it is in excellent condition, or the damage was done by you as a kid, or some famous rider.

After you fall asleep, I am coming round with the nitromors.  This old goose deserves the full treatment.

It's an awesome bike - the gusset goose for me defines old school BMX.

It is gonna look top notch however you do it!
