I meant the Gator ones, they are cool but it'd just feel a bit weird...

I don't get why anyone would even buy those skateboards now :2gunsfiring_v1:

yeah! f uck the fact that they are iconic slices of the time, and amongst the best art!

That's the thing - they are slabs of art. Those Gator boards are cool as fook  :coolsmiley:

Yeah I agree, they are probably the nicest, but would feel a bit odd that's all :)

I was never really a skater other than twatting about when the BMX was broken, but I did have a couple of T-Shirts....

From memory I had a Powell McGill and a G&S Neil Blender one....

I'd love a vintage Powell deck to hang on the wall, but I've just seen how much they can go for!  :coolsmiley: :idiot2:

Yeah I used to skate at Arrow and Skatopia. Arrow was and still is my all-time favourite park... years ahead of anything.

Mate that is an awesome collection you have there :daumenhoch:

Seeing some of those decks has bought back some memories for me.

I think I need to go and dig out my old boards form the old folks garage and go for a little skate.

found this at a carboot 1970 Nona Costa Messa

i have since cleaned it up and found that it has been only used once from the marks on tail  - it's very clean - the wheels are lush and the top of the board is well cool (will get a clean pic some time )

my board that i sprayed up but haven't ridden yet

one of my paint jobs on grip tape

That's an incredible collection  :coolsmiley: how long has it taken to amass that little lot? ???

I could do without getting into skateboards too, but how much would it cost to get a gator 3 street deck?

This morning all I have been doing is searching the net for old school decks.  Some of the prices are unreal

I might tap up a few mates on facebook I used to skate with and see what they have laying around in thiers garages

thanks!
Its taken about 8 years so far :)
The Gator 3 ramp is rare, would set you back maybe $6/700 if you could find one, the 3 mini isnt as rare and you can find them NOS for the $250 mark, the 3 street is the cheapest at around $150 NOS, plus they have re-issued it so you can buy them new for $69.95 :)

I keep going back to look through! The artwork is stunning. Really nice way to catalogue them too :)

Thanks for that, I'll keep an eye out for one of the re-issues. It's the deck I remember most :)
