For the record BMX for me is hobby that I can't waste thousands of pounds on and is about taking something old and unloved an making it rideable and looking good again. Then riding it and not hanging it on a wall.

have to say its all down to the individual if you can afford it then why not, if i had the money id have some amazing bikes, unfortunatly i dont, but i know adam spent a hell of a lot of time sourcing the parts for his hutch!(fair play to him)

i can see where spen is coming from tbh.
gotta stick up for my sheff/brum bro

i done the nos builds myself when i first got back into the hobby.
but after a while it gets boring just bolting the new bits on.i mean at the end of the day it aint rocket science to build these things is it

if you got the bits ready 1/2 hour and its done.

i get a lot more outta the hobby restoring stuff now and take that more into account than the bolt together route.
at the end of the day vote for which ya like

i understand that but im no restorer of parts but my latest build has tortured me,trying to sort parts out etc has took me forever and then getting my pedal spindles chromed ...what a fookin nightmare but the bike ive got sitting in my garage half done is stunning
