that's the rule of thumb I always worked by. But the lee spanned the gap between decades

Just my reckoning - 1989/1990-2003 = mid school. 2003+ marks the weight weenie/different frame geometry's, bottom brackets etc coming in.

I was hoping you'd put something into the thread. I've finally scored a lee. Pics to follow later tonight fella. So the 02's were Taiwan made but still cromo. Hmm. We'll chat about this further when I get some pics up later as its not all original and would like it to eventually be all og.

That one was bought a few months ago for around the £100 mark. It's an OG MK1 but it's had it's rear drops ground to 14mm, and the new (now crappy sadly) General decals popped on + respray.  Would like to know the story behind all that kit being sold by the lady and her daughter as it seems sadly that the original collector has died - they're selling off his collection (there's a Holmes etc being sold as well).


Love the General pit though - almost worth getting a NOS child to go with it
