Recently got hold of a GT Dyno that's had the frame powder coated (which I thought was causing the problem below but after further investigation I think not) and was having problems with the rear wheel moving forward under tension causing me to whack my shins on the pedals after the chain was coming off
I whipped the BMX upside down to re tension the chain and tighten the wheel back up and found that the right hand side drop out (looking from the back of the BMX) is slightly bent
You can see a slight bend at the place of the axle
This is the left that's much straighter
I didn't notice it was bent till I tried to take the wheel off but couldn't because of the bend!!
Is this normal lads ? Im not to clued up on wheel widths so if some one can educate me fire away
I think the slight bend may be causing the wheel bolt to not tighten flush with the frame and there for wont be getting a nice grip/hold causing movement, kind of the same reason I thought the powder coat was to blame as its scuffed and gouged out
One more thing, i don't think i can tighten the bolt up any more as they feel as if there going to strip the threads
Any advice is much appreciated
