New school frame advice

Next year im looking at building a new bike up

Starting with the frame im looking into the following -

Hoffman Lady Luck, United Mothership (rumoured new version due in feb) or if i can afford it the new FIT Mac.

The thing is, on my current bike, i went for a 21" top tube and the bike feels a little long. 

Im also thinking cutting the bars down slightly from 28" to 27" may help an old schooler adapt my riding a little more!

Any thoughts?

I'd go 20.5, run the bars at 28 wide and see how you go before you cut them.

"20.5 would be ok, "20.75 might also suit if the "21 is only a tad too long,
how do you want the front end? stable and trailsy or fast and a bit twitchier?
any brake position preference?
what/how hard do you ride?

Yeah - back end length you should consider as well - whippy or more OS with a slightly longer rear triangle - If you find it hard picking up the front on OS bikes go for a shorter rear end.

Hi mainly ride mini ramp locally or at Adrenaline Corby, the main thing for me has been not being able to 'feel' the back of the bike or get enough height/leverage on the bars.

Old school bikes just seemed to be easier to move around...

  I`m a bit taller than Spen and currently running  20.5 frame,27x8 bars & short stem.Maybe for you something with a 13.75 backend and 11.5 bb height.
