That rider is Chad Herrington - mid school dirt jump ruler. 

Made a bit of a tit of himself when he came to Backyard and the worlds, nearly all the jumps he does in "Ride On" are stepups, in slow motion, and you don't see many landings

Still an amazing video, and solely responsible for getting me back riding in 1992

Yeah, That he did. My mate Derren LOVED Chad (after watching Ride On) and was GUTTED at backyard when Chad couldnt even get over the doubles. He had to try most of his "tricks" over the first, set-up doubles. And he didnt even make it over those most of the time

i felt exactly the same!! i loved chad in ride on (i learnt saran wraps!) and was very disapointed when i saw him at backyard and he struggled to clear the jumps

ride on is one of my all time favs, its up there with feel my leg muscles and dirty deeds
