New member, Rochdale, Mandale Park Rejuvenation

Hi all, believe it or not I'm a new member from Rochdale looking to restoring Mandale park BMX track just off Manchester Road (A58) near Rochdale town center.
For my proposal I would like to get abit of History about the track so if you know anyone who has any pics from racing their back in the day or has rode the track it would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to speak to member Voivod who has done a lot with the restoration of the track at Heywood

Thanks, I noticed Voivod's previous post regarding what material to use to fill in holes etc but he has not been online since last year. Will message him anyway, chances are I probably know them as I am a regular at Heywood and know the Roach Valley Raiders lot.

There doesn't seem to bu much at all on the net in form of pics or history of the track, quite shocking really.

I looked at doing something with that track 3 years ago through our company as a CSR project ......... We could only get 10k and that would only do an 8th of the track . Its a good downhill track and a shame its in disrepair ................... It needs a full recon
