Sunday morning 2.1 versus Federal 20/20 Forks
« on: November 14, 2011, 08:37 PM »
New School Gurus,

I am thinking of buying some new forks for my ride and I don't want to bust the bank.

I have found some good deals on Sunday Morning 2.1 and Federal 20/20s (they must be white, by the way).

Any thoughts, or similar quality / price equation alternatives (<£75)?

Thanks,

Clean.

I have no technical knowledge about either forks, but I would go with the federal forks for sure. My reasons for this. . . . All the chavvy little idiots get boners in their skinny jeans when you mention sunday down the skate park, you mention any other brand like Profile, S&M, Dialled and they all reckon they are shlt and Sunday is the best. For this reason I will never own anything by Sunday

Light as fook, strong and good value, Harry Main used to run em so they must be ok :daumenhoch:

Sunday all the way quite simply because the heat treatment is better, they have a special rust proof coating inside and and out prior to painting and most of all have a life time warranty  :daumenhoch:

Thanks for the inputs, peeps; much appreciated, but I fear I am no further forward.  :-\

Sunday - 1 because chavvy kids love the brand

Federal +1 because they aren't Sunday

Sunday +1 for various cited technical reasons  ???

DK Race Forks +2 because Harry Main  - forgive my ignorance but I don't know who he is - runs them and you can't get better for the money, but they are over my budget (<£75) and I don't race  :-\

So, for my money it's the Sundays, but I am still very much open to persuasion....  ::)

Don't know if it's too late  but I've just bought some Federal 20/20 HD's for my Verde Radia and they're the nuts. Great quality and finish (certainly better than the Verde) and they're only £67.50 (half price) delivered from Winstanleys in selected colours.  :daumenhoch:

Not yet bought 'em, and now leaning back towards the Federals (they are to go on a Federal frame), but I am a little wary of the Anodised White Colour, as I didn't want to fork out for Federal bars to match.

D'oh!  :-\

Watch this space......  :idiot2:
