Hi from sunny Surrey!
« on: November 15, 2011, 12:06 AM »
Just thought I'd say hi and introduce myself. I'm Giles, a 35 year old kid from Epsom, Surrey trying to be young again! I've got myself a new Verde Radia (way too good for me) so I'm restoring my MRD Badlander back to it's former glory. I'm sure I'll pesture you all a lot more soon when I'm trying to find out where to send things/get things, what to do etc....Just hope I can turn out a bike half as good as the ones on these pages!  :)

Welcome to RAD!
I'm just down the road from you in sunny Chessington.
Have you pencilled in the 4th Dec London ride yet?

Cool! It's nice to find another member so close.
Do you ever go down to the bowl in Tolworth? I've only just started up riding parks after a long lay-off so I know there are plenty of places around now but don't actually know where a lot of them are! Small point really as I can't do any tricks as I've got a torn rotator cuff at the moment.  :(
I didn't know about the London ride but I've just had a look and as long as it's not under 2 foot of snow, I'll be up for that. Have to use the Verde though as the Badlander's in a million pieces at the moment!  ;D

Never been to the Tolworth one, it's the 'pack' of youths that also put me off!  ;D
Happy to venture down there with a little backup, I'm sure Terry would attack the bowl!!  :D

I'm planning to go down there on Friday during the day (when there are no kids around) and have a little ride around. To be honest, when I went down there to check it out, the bmx kids were pretty sound but there are far too many scooters! Can't do any tricks because of my duff shoulder but I can carve it up, old school stylee! :daumenhoch:
