ok,so i know i said id retired after my ghp build but i couldnt rest until i had a patterson in my collection.ive always loved the pr200's but more recently the earlier pattys had grown on me especially the longs,the low sleak design is everything a race bike should be.id approached neil (subwax) about his 81 pro model way back last year and told him that if he ever wanted to shift it for certain then to let me have first shout,anyways i ended up winning it on evil bay for bit of a steal really but i still really wanted a long,then low and behold just a week later over in the museum a rechromed long frame came up for sale so i bought that one too!,that left me a set of forks short of two full frame sets but as luck would have it glenboy sold me his redline proline forks which are the forks patty used until they produced their own and are identical,so having retired i now had two pattys

this build is a kind of brent patterson tribute bike although both brent and brian changed their bikes so often that its hard to pin down one incarnation but its similar to something they were running towards the end of 82/83.its the usual mix of refurbed,nos and minty used parts,its turned out better than i expected and is total bling in the flesh,how quick does this one look just stood still!!
