How many bottles of liquid RIT for 2 tuffs?

Sure this must have been asked before.

Ive got 2 blue steel hub Tuffs need dying, how many bottles of 8oz liquid rit do I need (or boxes of 1 1/8 oz) powder?

Also how much salt?

i didn't think the liquid worked,  could be wrong though.......

you can use the liquid Dan, a full bottle will make the finished colour quite dark,so i'd use 1/2 to 3/4 of it, if its not right after boiling for acouple of hours use the rest, if using powder 2packets for colours like red or blue, 3 for lighter like yellow, ive used it without salt and it worked fine

I think its royal blue for rit and madonna blue for dylon Dave.

the blue will depend on the Volume of Water to Amount of Dye used to the Amount of Time in for and Temperature set at for allowing the Process to React = simple

take 1 set of OGK's - slightly faded


wash


pick out any dirty bits missed


scrape off any brake marks


bleach


hot water


salt


dye


put in and leave for 24 hours - turning and stirring every so often


cover


take out and wash in cold water - then dry


now ready to serve - i mean ride - DONE
