OG Curtis Cruiser
« on: March 18, 2015, 10:47 PM »
Hi,

I picked this up tonight from a real top fella, who I have been in contact with for quite some time.

He owned the bike for 15+ years after swapping it for some computer games! He did well out of that swap  :daumenhoch: and I am dead pleased to have this as the next project. :)

I have a Curtis Expert, which I posted last year and I had been looking out for a Pro before coming across this. I know they didn't make too many of these, just like the freestylers I guess, but don't know the full history of the cruisers; how many were made, years made, colours they came in etc.

It needs some TLC. The dropouts have seen better days, but overall it looks OK. It came with Araya wheels, Haro Group 1 stem and cool looking bars that will need a good oxy bath.

I would be interested to get the full history, if anyone knows, which no doubt someone will  :)

Cheers
Nick
