« on: November 10, 2011, 02:48 AM »
Im so pumped I found this site. I have a lot to offer in midschool parts and such. I'm currently looking for any King stuff to recreate an Ed Koenning bike. Thanks for everyone's time!

Ive got a set of those, and a King chainring.

Someone local to me had a whole bike. The last time i saw him, he was riding it (and it was new). Ive no idea of he still has it.

*Think* I've still got some King Pegs kicking around as well, although what state they'll be in......

I know it's not King, but always wanted to try out one of them Rigid street/ramp bikes that Nate Wessel had done for him:

I've got some of the Cone nuts as well. There's a thread somewhere in the Mid section about King Bikes  :daumenhoch:

Thanks for the help guys . I did find an old King post from 2 years ago but was hoping someone stumbled across something since then. Anyway, thanks again!

Looks that way - what was The Trial? - bmx or one of them there hybrids? Spooky stopped doing bmx's around the early 2000's as well. Seem to remember still seeing King fork/stem combo's around in the early 2000's :)

The Trial was a bmx frame, a simple no wishbone frame with a euro b/b iirc.

Here's a nice pic for the King fans

Stuart King riding dirt in the 1995 X-Games. Page out of a BMX PLUS Magazine, that I stole from Steev Bartholomew's FB

I remember saving up for a set of King forks, as they were touted as indestructable... Id bent a few cheapy forks and decided to go for a beefy set... sadly , after two weeks,  one footplant on a fence to a flat bank landing bent the steerer... I rang the number for King and spoke to Stuart Kings mum [ !!] and as they were a cool rider owned company, they sent me a new set of forks for free and offered me a my money back too!
Oh... hang on a minute, thats not what happened. The forks did bend. I did ring the  number to end up talking to Stuarts mum. But they offered me .. nothing.
Bstards. Still, it was the 90s. !!
