bit expensive if you ask me as it's not got a crank which will set you back another £50 - £100 to get sorted, also it will weigh a fooking ton!  spend the dosh (as much as you can afford) on a nice second hand new school if you want something rideable  :daumenhoch:

Cheers never noticed the crank (misread the crank bit in spares)  ::)

Suppose my next question should be whats a decent budget new school bike but they all look so tiny  ???

and tbh its only the "20 wheels that make them "look so tiny"

if you think in terms of the length of your back then the tt length is the only really important bit,

i hate asking this as it gets lost in the fog but, how tall are you?

If its what you want, then £100 isn't too bad, but he's up for offers

I'd say £80 would be a fair price, you'd get some decent S/H cranks for £30-40, I've got loads of gyro's you can have

But i'd do the new school thing if you are gonna ride it in anger.

:)  Mirra 540s are pretty good,20.5 toptube? Have a look on ChainReactionCycles-they were doing Ruption/Blank 3 pc cromo cranks W/19mm spindle w/mid BB  for £25 posted. You`d then just need bearing cups...

Is it the same setup as the old school 1 piece cranks or different?

Cheers  :D

Was thinking of getting some closer up pics to make sure its put together right its been a long time.

I could not remember which side the levers went on so had a look at few pics and copied that, First ride out pissed off cos the brakes were crap decided to razz it along some grass and see if the rear would lock weird how your brain automatically remembers the right way for the brakes as i grabbed a hand full of (crap) back brake on wet grass and the front brake came on oh well it amused the missus as i was picking myself up  :D
