I have been considering TT length - don't need anything too long, ideally looking at around 20.5"

seen some decent looking completes go for under £140 Rob, so biding my time until something pops up

so far the mirraco is top of the list but keeping an open mind in case it gets a load of bids at the last minute

I reckon you will get a decent used complete for 140, it will ride pretty much the same as a 1000 quid rig.

well the felt just finished on £31 delivered - not bad for a new frame, headset & BB...

hoping that mirraco stays low tomorrow or else the search begins again!

got the mirraco for the start price of £100, so now I just need to wait for them to tell me when I can pick it up!
Hopefully they won't mind that I used paypal instead of bringing cash - not as if anyone else bid on it & if they moan too much can always bung them a tenner for fees (would have been happy to pay £110 anyway

)

just spoke to the seller - they had some pc problems and couldn't get onto ebay tonight but will be picking it up tomorrow

thanks to all for the advice and links and that, want to bring this to T1 saturday but think the front tyre might be a bit knobbly for wood?
what do you reckon? think they're the ones that came with the bike so according to the link below they're 'Odyssey Mike Aitken'

so what's a decent NS front brake then? going to have to try and match the lever that's on there but know fook all about NS front calipers...
no lugs on them forks so I hope there's a hole for an older style (might even nick the one off the mongoose as no-one seems to want it

)

John, embrace the NS and just trust the back brake. It will work 10 times better than your old school ones anyway, so you don't need a front

Your forks don't have lugs and more than likely the stem cap won't have a hole to pass the cable through

It might have a hole in the forks for a caliper brake, some completes come with a caliper brake on the front

Don't put the forks off your mongoose on it, they'll probably weigh more than the whole bike

Tyres are fine for park use...

looks like a good buy there mate and as said have faith in the rear brake, tyres are great for street park and dirt, as i have the same but amber wall and have done all surfaces on them without any problems

Thought your goose had lugged forks and a u brake?

Just flip the lever over so it's upside down, don't bother buying a new un till you've at least given it a go...
