and mary also looks on ebay at 3:20

each of them see a different listing.

judy, john and mary all place a bid at the same time - days later they are the only bidders and no one else bids on these different listings

then who wins the item ?

I have often thought the same, far from bringing it to my attention (which is why i guess people multiple list) it puts me off bidding as i immediately assume the seller is dodgy

Personally, I would bid on this from him as there is more chance of you winning one - 300616587378
