I know we all like a bit of banter but this is one hell of a thread and there's not even any threatening posts (yet). :LolLolLolLol:

Oh and even Munners chirped in.  ;)

A friend of mine had a Meteor Lite same as that in the 80's.

It had copy Z rims, which were (incredibly) even WEAKER than genuine ones.
It was like riding a jellyfish, in porridge, with springs attached to your shoes.

The frame was solid enough though.  Although it would be, with double the amount of tubes . . . . . .

For some reason, the bike got nicked.  Bet the thief was pretty pissed off when he saw what he had got.

Spot on - not many people have such knowledge  :4_17_5:... some knob said it was a Puch Invader painted white with Skyway decals FFS!

Phuh. As if.
It clearly is a development model, only ridden in Canada?
See if that chap on bmxmuseum wants to buy it.

Thats right and the decals are original. I can tell that because... a. they are ... and b. they are stuck over the paint... which must be original.

I think Andy Patterson may have used this to develop the TA which he built in his shed. The geometry is almost not very similar.

I'm just showing my score right... so back off.

best quote in the thread,

"The kid that owned this boat anchor could have stolen a nice bike from a kid and stripped the parts for this POS.  Feasible huh?  Just restore it back to its former glory, reattach it to your boat and keep that boat anchor in the water so we don't have to look at it anymore."
