Theres no excuse for poishing stuff like that  :yahoo_silent:

Whether its a replica or the real deal its a nice looking bike but spoilt by details like polishing or chroming parts like that

With 5 made out the factory

It's Surprising there's still 4 existing

You'd've thought at least 2  unknown wherabouts , 2  snapped framests and binned

Is this the FRAME AND FORKS  that made $5000 a year or 2 ago ?  :-\

The polished stuff could so easily be replaced for about the cost of £200 so it's irrelavent IMO

You are right JJ  you just wouldn't  put those bits on it  :crazy2:

It's defo the best looking cruiser I have seen and apart from the over polished parts, which is not too much thankfully, it's worth every penny IMO

Good looking build  :) well apart from the cheap looking chain and the chainwheel thats been abused  >:D

Does anyone think that the frame looks rechromed - the pic of the dropouts looks like show-chrome (whatever that is) not bog-standard T/A chrome?  If this is the case, the chainwheel etc. would fit in perfectly.  Still a beautiful frameset IMO.    8)

The knurling (for want of a better word) on the dropouts doesn't look as crisp as some I've seen...

Couldn't be bothered to read the whole Museum thread...

I think its been re-chromed also and redecal'd with the standard pealing of the fork decal on the bottom. Well all being said im suprised its not getting more praise on here just for how rare it is. The word rare gets used far to mush in os bmx these days but this is a grail piece of history for me anyway.

Crap!   :yahoo_silent:

Its an all to common fopaux what ever way you look at it!

If the frame had been painted black or pink it would be wrong as they never were never produced that way. So why is it Ok to refinish a chainwheel or stem hardwear in a finish that they never had BITD.

Thats customizing not restoration or building a replica.
