Rob... it was a fookin mission to get 35 people to ride a skatepark

and even then 6 failed to show but thankfully I didn't have to cover the costs as T1Mark was cool about it.

We can deffo have more but I don't think we will be able to do many more T! meets due to the cost / distance / numbers equations

I like T1 as a park but I don't think they have got the price / numbers thing down yet. If it was a fixed fee of ( like last night ) £420 and you could have up to 45 riders it would make it more do-able. Thats more people eating and drinking and can still be covered by 2 staff

I will stick all 3 of ya down and hope for the best

I was just thinking as this one's the Christmas Doo it would be nice to cram everyone in. I'm not sure the 'get your name down or lose out' psychology works.

I understand the travel/distance thing. Don't agree though. BMX has always been a nomadic sport - we're supposed to travel!

If it helps any soft southern shandy drinking bastards out, I'll have a bigger van soon. I'm happy to transport bikes for people if they then car share to reduce costs. Perhaps there's a northern monkey or two that could do the same?

Ash, you'll regret not having a little go mate - you can always ride my bike in the few minutes down-time it gets, unless it's fooked like it currently is due to z-rim technology on chainrings........

Need a bit of pressure to get the money in Rob. The biggest pain in the arse with these things is the stress of paying for it. Theres people who pay and people who don't. If you don't you have the option not come. Good for you but not for me as the organiser. Terminal 1 are a new park and the owners are trying pricing out that isn't to everyones taste... its deffo on the higher side ... and when it comes to private hire its a set cost for a set number of riders. I have suggested they do it differently but they are doing it how they want... but the point is that I/we have to find the hire fee whatever... if you want to come you have to commit by paying... then if you can't make it thats your problem... but as I said.... its hard to get 35 people who are available to ride on any set date. I'd rather ride with 15/20 people down the Boardroom because, as you said, even with 35 in TERMINAL 1 it seems empty. I'm gonna ask them if for the Xmas one we can pay £420 and have as many as we want... but I'm not holding my breathe...

So at the moment its £12 a rider and we need 35 to get that price ( 25 and its £15 a head ) so get you payments in please...
